I’m Heather and I was born and raised in North Louisiana and South Arkansas. I’m a writer, photographer, healer, teacher, intuitive and a country girl. I moved to the Heart of Cajun Country for a great job and I fell in love. The culture, the food, the art… all of it. But truth be told, there are times I had no idea what’s going on… so I just rolled with it and enjoyed the moments, this led me to calling myself, Pretend Cajun.
My husband and I love to go on adventures, exploring the area and learning the why of the places we visit. Even though he is native of the area, he learns right along with me at times and loves helping me understand the real stories.
